2015 – 2021
A Vision Rooted in Creativity, Unity, and Purpose
Pixelake was never meant to be just another digital agency. The name reflects what the brand stands for. PIXEL represents individual creators with their unique imagination and craft. LAKE symbolises depth, unity, and adaptability.
From late nights coding in 2015 to repeated rejections and industry realities, the idea of Pixelake kept resurfacing. It did not feel like a trend or a business move. It felt like a responsibility.
At some point, it became clear that SMEs deserved better. Creatives deserved better.And the digital industry needed a healthier and more purposeful culture.
Those early years shaped the foundation of Pixelake today. A digital and growth marketing agency built on resilience, integrity-driven creativity, and work that creates real, lasting impact.
2021 – 2024
Exploring Vietnam Market
Kevin relocated to Vietnam for three years to immerse himself in the culture and local business environment. This experience deepened his understanding of how SMEs operate across markets and how growth decisions change depending on context.
The insights gained during this period shaped Pixelake’s ability to support businesses expanding into Malaysia and Vietnam with perspective grounded in real experience, not assumptions.
2024 – 2025
Strengthening Strategic Foundations
During this period, a recurring pattern became clear. Many businesses had ambition and budget, but their digital foundations were not built to support growth. The result was wasted spend, inconsistent experiences, and outcomes that never matched the effort invested.
To address this gap, Kevin pursued professional development with The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK, and Meta. Becoming an Associate Member of both bodies strengthened Pixelake’s ability to connect strategy, execution, and technology through a more holistic lens.
This was never about titles. It was about responsibility. Pixelake itself was built from limited capital and grew one careful step at a time. The same care is applied to every client’s marketing budget.
2026+
Evolving Beyond a Traditional Digital Agency
With experience, perspective and stronger professional grounding, Pixelake began moving beyond the boundaries of a traditional digital agency. We now work closely with SMEs that value integrity, strong digital foundations and long-term growth over short-term tactics.
This shift marks Pixelakeās evolution into a Digital and Growth Marketing Agency. Our focus is on helping SMEs build integrated digital ecosystems and marketing strategies that remain resilient in a future shaped by rapid change, human behaviour, and AI.
